🙌🏾 because it is the weekend 😀.At some point during the weekend, I am going to remove my granny plaits and put on some ‘out’ clothes 😀 (heels optional 😁). When I am lounging at IWASATTHEBAR with friends and a drink in my hand, I almost feel like I am somewhere else. I have no travel plans on the horizon so the chic, modern, fun decor gives me the ‘away’ vibe I need, even if it is just for a few hours. Currently in light of health and safety reasons, @iwasatthebar has shifted to a one on one, intimate, small group type of lime which is totally my kind of night out.If you want to lounge and chill, have an evening out with girlfriends (where my girls 👧🏾👧🏽at?), have an affordable date night where it feels like you went somewhere 😀or decompress after a long day at work then @iwasatthebar is the place to be. No outing for me is complete without food 🍲and their new menu (international small plates and sushi) is perfect for sharing. This post is a not so subtle hint to @nashj001 about plans this weekend 😀😂.Have a great weekend everyone!#anguilla #caribbeanrestaurant #caribbean #caribbeanfood #caribbeanblogger #iwasatthebar #myanguillaexperience ... My Anguilla Experience
I confirmed my second pregnancy at the beginning of a global pandemic 😷😬. I was happy but super concerned too as there was so much uncertainty (still is) at that time. Quality healthcare was my primary concern. I was living in England at the time and covered for medical care under the NHS. I was fortunate to have an excellent experience there, knowing that this is not the case for all pregnant black women in the UK 🤰🏾.Before returning to Anguilla (at almost 7 months pregnant), I knew I had to get my health insurance status sorted. Alliance Insurance was helpful and efficient. I was able to pick up my Insurance cards once I cleared quarantine. All my claims during pregnancy were approved quickly and easily with 80 percent coverage.Shout out to Jervis for his excellent customer service skills and patience and to Doreen for her guidance and expertise during this time.Things can change so quickly when you are pregnant so I rested easily at night knowing I had quality health insurance.Be sure to call Alliance Insurance Services - Anguilla to ask questions and get a quote for your health insurance too.#anguilla #islandliving #caribbeanlife #caribbeanblogger #healthinsurance #healthylifestyle #healthishappiness #pregnancy #maternalcare #fullhealthcoverage #healthinfo #islandlife #allianceinsurance #aisanguilla #myanguillaexperience ... My Anguilla Experience
I don’t know about you, but whenever I see Sandra Lovell (swipe left for more pics), I think Insurance, particularly Alliance Insurance 😀. Sandra is the Director of Alliance Insurance. With her open, friendly and caring nature it is no surprise that she believes that ‘Insurance is for everyone.’ Certainly, today in the continued spirit of gratitude, I am thankful that I have health insurance🙏🏽.Sandra has been with Alliance Insurance Services - Anguilla since the seeds for this essential business were planted in 2006. My first meaningful encounter with Sandra was at an ACOCI Business after Hours event hosted by Alliance in 2015. Prior to that I had been hearing good things about Alliance from friends and family. When talking about Insurance at that event she said, ‘I tell everyone whether you have health insurance with us or you have taken it with someone else, in this day and age , you need health information/insurance. The day will come when all of us will get sick. Please get health insurance.’ Those words stuck with me.Today, I am happy to see how this business has grown. When I returned to Anguilla last year, transitioning to insurance coverage with Alliance Insurance was seamless and I am grateful.Do you have health insurance? If you don’t, I know the lovely Sandra Lovell (I mean ‘Love’ ❤️😀is in her actual name after all, would be happy to help).Tell her I said 👋🏽 😀. #anguilla #islandliving #caribbeanlife #caribbeanblogger #healthinsurance #healthylifestyle #healthishappiness #healthinfo #islandlife #allianceinsurance #myanguillaexperience ...
