I haven’t had a fancy, dress-up, stay-out late Old Year’s night since my children rocketed into my world. On New Year’s Eve, I wore a dress that I felt fantastic in and Nash and I went to Chef’s Table at Aurora Anguilla. It was a beautiful and memorable way to ring in 2023. Aurora’s New Year celebrations checked the boxes for so many of the things I love.

Here are five reasons I loved ringing in the New Year at Aurora Resort:

I got dressed up on New Year’s Eve!
  1. Amazing company

It was the perfect night out to start a new year with my husband. He is the person I look forward to ringing in New Year’s celebrations with forever.

    2. Delicious food – buffet style

Every single station made my tummy do a happy dance and my mouth water. My favourite station was the cold seafood (yummy crab legs, oysters and lobster tail). It is no secret how much I love seafood. Other notable mentions during dinner were the Country ham, salmon Wellington, sushi and the extensive dessert selection.

    3. A gorgeous poolside setting with a fun photo booth and a make-you-sway and sing-along DJ

    4. After dinner entertainment and fireworks

The New Year’s Eve Concert was a vibe. I heard that the first performance by JukeBoxAtlanta was great (R &B music) but I missed it because I was still stuffing my face at the buffet. We caught On The Border – The Eagles Tribute Band. Though I didn’t know many of their songs, I hummed and swayed along. It was hard not to while relaxing in Aurora’s gorgeous new amphitheatre on a gorgeous Caribbean night under the stars. The Fireworks show was spectacular and we had the added treat of seeing fireworks from other locations as well.

    5. Attentive customer service and genuine smiles

The staff at Aurora played a big role in making the New Year special. They ensured that the night flowed smoothly for guests and added loads of kindness and goodwill to the evening. We all need more of this in 2023.

    Seafood? Yes Please 🙂

It was an amazing way to end what has been a fabulous year. As I watched the stunning fireworks at midnight at Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club, I took a minute to say thank you with gratitude for 2022 and to set an intention with hope and expectation for 2023.

Happy New Year! We look forward to sharing love, laughter and sunshine with you in 2023.
