Anguilla is a Foodie’s Paradise – The Restaurant at Malliouhana

When it comes to food, there is always something different or somewhere new to try in Anguilla. I love food (foodie over here!) and I love going to new places. Whenever I hear of a new spot I always want to try it. However, you have to be on your ‘dining out game’ in order to keep up with all the new and/or revamped restaurants and hotels in Anguilla. 2017 Dining Game activated!

This year, I am joining my mom and sister Sherise, who runs the fashion and lifestyle blog – The Business of Chic – on a mission to catch up on some of the dining spots that have been on my T0 Eat at list for a while.  Our first stop was The Restaurant at Malliouhana. I never would have imagined that it would have taken me years to make it to Malliouhana – An Auberge Resort.  It was worth the wait.

I loved the old Malliouhana and upon entering the new Malliouhana I fell in love with it all over again. The colors, the patterns, the art and of course the view has not changed!

The Restaurant at Malliouhana

We headed to The Restaurant at Malliouhana as we were starving. We had perused the menu before so we already knew what we wanted. As you can tell from the picture below we all love mussels!

The service was good and the food was definitely yummy. Our Johnny cakes, mussels, French fries and of course the delectable bread was the perfect ‘cheat’ meal before I started my 3 week Sugar Detox Challenge (more about this in a subsequent post).

I had a virgin pina colada and my mom and sister sipped on mojitos. We laughed and talked for a few hours as we ate every morsel of food placed before us.  During our conversation, my eyes kept wandering to the gorgeous view before us and I snapped pictures from the restaurant of the gorgeous expanse of blue sea. Occasionally a sail boat would pass by adding to the perfection that is the view from The Restaurant at Malliouhana.

After lunch, we wandered around the resort taking pictures and just admiring the attention to detail at the hotel. It is such a fun location to take pictures. Visit my Instagram page and check out some more photos of the view.
