Eating out at Restaurants in Anguilla
I had a fabulous Christmas break. How about you? I didn’t over eat but in addition to some good home-cooked food I also enjoyed a couple of days and night out on the town :). Translation: I visited some restaurants in Anguilla. Yes I know – wild and crazy!
Here is a snapshot of some of the restaurants I visited during the holidays.
Viceroy Resort – Coba Restaurant
We celebrated Sherma’s birthday at Coba Restaurant. It was a fantastic night out with friends. I enjoyed my dinner very much from my appetizer to my lobster pasta to the cake for dessert which was specially made for Sherma. We were entertained during dinner by the melodious voice of Jaine Rogers. There were lots of laughs. We are definitely getting older and life is changing at a rapid pace but it is good to have a constant when it comes to friends. Cheers to Sherma who looked beautiful in her black jump suit.
Where was Xavi?
Xavi was at home with his Dad.
Roy’s Bayside Grill
I had not visited Roy’s Bayside Grill in years for dinner so when my in-laws suggested this restaurant I did not object. Nash’s mom visited over Christmas and had a great time in Anguilla. We went to Roy’s one evening for a fun night out to celebrate with her. I think I am blessed because I really love my in-laws and enjoy their company. Again it was a fun night out with Nash, his siblings and their partners and his mom.
Where was Xavi?
Xavi was at home with my mom.
da’Vida’s Bayside Grill
The following day Nash and I took his mom (Paula) to lunch at da’Vida. The live entertainment from Omari Banks, the food, the proximity to home and the atmosphere keep us coming back. Paula enjoyed Omari’s crooning. It was also Ashe Sunday and the feature performer was Natalie who did a fabulous job. There is some really great talent in Anguilla. I snapped a photo with Natalie. Check out her single here. I wish her continued success.
Where was Xavi?
Xavi was with us taking in the sights and sounds. He was pretty serious except when he was playing with his father.
Blanchard’s Restaurant
That same evening I went to Blanchard’s restaurant with my mom and sister to celebrate my mom’s birthday. It was also Sherise’s last night in Anguilla before flying back to England. It was such a lovely dinner. I truly love the food at Blanchards Restaurant. Right now De Cuisine Restaurant and Blanchards Restaurants are definitely among my favorite restaurants. I love mussels and had them for my appetizer. My mom was surprised with a cracked coconut for dessert for her birthday. We were all so stuffed. I couldn’t ask for a better mom and sister.
Where was Xavi?
Xavi was at home with his Dad, grand mom and aunts and uncles who were chilling at our house.
Le Bar Restaurant
My first visit to Le Bar Restaurant was just a few weeks ago. Nash and I had the Sunday lobster special which was quite tasty. Sherise speaks highly about their mussels night so I know I will be back to try it.
Where was Xavi?
Xavi was with us and it was just the three of us enjoying a Sunday lunch date at Sandy Ground. Xavi was fascinated with Didier’s (the owner) beard.
