Runway Anguilla 2017 – Charity for Community

Sometimes a girl just needs to put on a little black dress and some heels and sparkle. Runway Anguilla provided the perfect opportunity to do so this weekend. Runway Anguilla is an annual charity fashion show (charity for community).  This year’s charitable proceeds were in aid of medical support for elderly and education support for youth.   The backdrop for this year’s event was The Yacht Club at the The Reef by Cuisinart. Sunset Cruise with Calypso Charters

Early that morning I peered anxiously through the window at work. I saw dark clouds and then it started to rain. “Oh No!” I thought. I did not want anything to mess with the sunset cruise Nash and I had planned. By the afternoon however, the sun was shining brightly and so was I. I left work early, settled Xavi in with my sister who was babysitting and Nash and I headed to Cove Bay. When we arrived at Cove Bay, we saw the Calypso Charters Boat waiting for us. Along with another couple, Alceo and Krystel, we boarded...

The beach BBQ at Blue Restaurant is held every Wednesday night from 7-10pm. Nash and I had been planning to go to the Barbeque for many months but fate conspired against us so that our Wednesday nights were always occupied with classes or meetings.  Finally, we had a Wednesday night free and my mom volunteered to babysit. “Yes! We are finally going to make it to the BBQ at Blue,” I thought. I waited in anticipation all day for evening to arrive. I was also sure to keep a big appetite as it was a buffet after all. Dinner...

Anniversary Adventure with AXA Watersports

Nash and I celebrated out four year wedding anniversary a few days ago. We usually take the day off from work to celebrate our day together. After taking Xavi to day care, our first stop was Nico’s restaurant in The Valley for a light breakfast in anticipation of the day ahead.  We knew that we wanted to spend our day at the beach! For our day of fun in the sun we chose Anguilla Watersports and headed down to the Cove. The Cove was one of my favourite beaches when I was a child and holds such fond memories....
